Weekly Hours: 2 to 6 hours initially, with the potential for additional hours as the school grows.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and qualified Arabic Language Teacher to join our esteemed Arabic Language Centre.

As a vital member of our teaching team, you will play a fundamental role in delivering and leading high-quality Arabic language instruction, while also providing feedback to the education manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic Arabic language lessons that cater to the varying proficiency levels and learning styles of students.
2. Follow the Designed Curriculum & Materials: You will actively engage with a newly designed curriculum, supplemented by access to hundreds of teaching resources and materials.
3. Foster Language Proficiency: Facilitate language development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening through immersive and interactive teaching methodologies.
4. Assess Student Progress: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and proficiency levels, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
5. Cultural Integration: Integrate cultural components into lessons to provide students with a holistic understanding of the Arabic language and its cultural context.
6. Support Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and encouraged to actively participate in their language learning journey.
7. Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to coordinate curriculum development, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the Arabic Language Centre.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. 
2. Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic, with excellent command of both spoken and written Arabic and English!
3. Previous experience teaching Arabic language courses to diverse student populations, preferably in an educational or language institute setting.
4. Strong pedagogical skills with a proven ability to develop engaging and effective instructional materials.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students and create a positive learning environment.
6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current trends and best practices in language education.

Important Components;

1. Experience with technology-enhanced language learning tools (eg. Google Classroom, Google Suite, Zoom) 
2. Proficiency in English or another language commonly spoken by students at the Arabic Language Centre.

• There will be an Unpaid Induction and training program prior to working.
• You will also be required to attend or complete a teachers reporting survey.
